Objective:  Tone’s primary focus and emphasis is on wholeness and health. Tone is a vibrant, active studio for clients and teachers. We are not solely a teacher training facility. Our hope in offering certification opportunities is to attract individuals who are pursuing teaching and who show a strong desire to work at Tone. And regardless of where you end on your teaching journey, we want to grow extraordinary teachers who have a solid foundation on which to build a lifetime love of movement and health. Our certification follows the recommended guidelines set out by the Pilates Method Alliance.

This Pilates Equipment Teacher Training course of study is a journey of the Pilates Principles applied to this innovative and amazing equipment conceived in the individuality of each student.  To be a teacher in this discipline opens the possibilities of incredibly health potential.  This exploration is about creating a safe environment for all.

This Teacher Training is heavily based on the kinesiology (anatomy and physiology) and human movement patterns.  The teachers will learn to build the equipment to optimize each student’s goal.  The art of listening to the needs of the student and communicating the most efficient movement patterns is crucial.
