You are invited to join Monica and her Yoga Teacher Training students as Monica introduces the importance of posture in our health, functional movement and exercise. Posture reflects our physical, mental, and spiritual well being. It is the basis for life, movement and locomotion. Learn basic guidelines for healthy posture, common postural deviations and tools for addressing the progression to a healthy posture.
Through demonstration of everyday life, Pilates moves, yoga asana , and spiral movement exploration i.e. fun, we will explore common and new patterns , hone our observations skills, thereby beginning the transformational process of “holding ourselves”. Monica will attempt to apply some more recent models (fascial chains ) in this exploration.
