The yoga lineage of Sri Krishnamacharya and Sri Desikachar is steeped with transformation tools based on Patanjali’s Sutras and relationships relevant then and relevant now.
Mastery of yoga is really measured by how it influences our day-to-day living, how it enhances our relationships, how it promotes clarity and peace of mind. —T.K.V. Desikachar
This program takes the 200-hour studies and goes levels deeper.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVE
A successful student of Tone’s YTT300 will delve into all of the areas of yoga in the context of Patanjali’s Sutra translated by Desikachar. This curriculum is based on the lineage of Krishnamacharya/Desikachar as taught to me by my teacher, Robert Birnberg, as taught by his teacher Sonia Nelson and Sir Desikachar. This rich curriculum includes the continued discussions and inquiry of Samkhya philosophy, the separation of religion from yoga, classical methods and why they were developed and treasured. This 300 is a deeper study of all that was introduced in YTT200 plus the study of contemporary and ancient texts to bring depth to our ability to relate to students.
